Introduction
What this site is all about!
What is IRL Streaming:
IRL streaming stands for “In Real Life” streaming — a form of live broadcasting where creators share aspects of their daily lives, activities, or adventures in real time with an online audience. IRL streaming is when someone uses a camera (often a smartphone with mobile data) to broadcast live video from the real world — rather than from a studio, gaming setup, or pre-recorded environment. It can include walking around cities, attending events, traveling, or even casual chats.
What is the purpose of this site:
This site is here to help anyone interested in IRL streaming — whether you’re just getting started or already streaming and want to level up. I’m sharing everything I’ve learned from years of experience to make your own streaming adventure even better!
About Me:
Hi, I'm Loulz. I’m a full-time IRL streamer. I did my very first IRL stream back in 2010 on a jailbroken iPhone 3G through Justin.tv. What began as a fun hobby in 2018 quickly grew into my full-time career by 2020. After getting tons of questions and requests for tips from other streamers, I decided to build this site to share my experience and help others on their IRL journey.
Note:
The information on this site comes directly from my own hands-on experience. All recommendations are based on hardware and software I’ve personally used for IRL streaming. If you don’t see a detailed guide that matches your exact setup, that’s why! I’d love to feature insights from other IRL streamers — feel free to reach out and contribute. (Note: My experience with iPhones is limited, but I've included what I know. I strongly recommend using an Android device if possible.)
