# Xfinity Now

## Introduction

[Xfinity Now](https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/wifi) is a service provided by Xfinity to the general public which allows you to connect to hotspots all over the country with unlimited data for only $10/month. Sound too good to be true? Well, it is true.

## How It Works

The modem/router combo provided by Xfinity to Xfinity customers by default also broadcast a second Wi-Fi network called 'xfinitywifi'. Perhaps you've noticed an 'xfinitywifi' before, as they're extremely common. This network is separate from the users custom SSID and password, and with proper Xfinity credentials, anyone can connect to these networks. For just $10/month, you're in on that. Pair that with IRL Pro's connection bonding, and the fact that your phone will automatically connect to any 'xfinitywifi' after connecting to the first one (because they appear as the same network), and you're basically good in any big city in the USA that has Xfinity internet. Check out their [coverage map](https://www.xfinity.com/mobile/network/map?zip=37011) and type in some zip codes to see all the options.

Further, it supports up to two devices per account, meaning you could use this for your streaming phone, as well as your secondary phone to have a better connection on that as well.

## How To Sign Up

You could sign up on the spot by connecting to any 'xfinitywifi' if the modem is actually connected to the internet, or by signing up on the [Xfinity Now website](https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/wifi). You can choose to pay month by month manually, or setup automatic payments so you don't have to worry about it. Trust me, in most places where Xfinity is offered, this is a major game changer for IRL streaming.
