How It Works
The modem/router combo provided by Xfinity to Xfinity customers by default also broadcast a second Wi-Fi network called 'xfinitywifi'. Perhaps you've noticed an 'xfinitywifi' before, as they're extremely common. This network is separate from the users custom SSID and password, and with proper Xfinity credentials, anyone can connect to these networks. For just $10/month, you're in on that. Pair that with IRL Pro's connection bonding, and the fact that your phone will automatically connect to any 'xfinitywifi' after connecting to the first one (because they appear as the same network), and you're basically good in any big city in the USA that has Xfinity internet.
