Cx Live (Ice Poseidon App)

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

• Free Connection Bonding: Cx Live allows users to use Mobile Data and Wi-Fi Data at the same time in a process known as connection bonding. It also supports Ethernet, but this is much more rarely used.

• Supports SRT/SRTLA, which is better than RTMP/RTMPS (Though not supported by all platforms).

• Supports HEVC/x265, which is more efficient than H.264 (Though not supported by all platforms).

• Fully customizable PiP support.

• Full custom web overlay support (Powerchat.live, Streamlabs, Etc).

• Full Kick.com broadcaster support - edit titles, categories, settings, ban/unban/timeout users.

Cons:

• Caters to Kick.com specifically right now. While this is a Pro for me and anyone on Kick, it may be a con for you.

• No native multi-streaming support (Prism has this).

• No native overlays (Chat embedded on screen/replays).

• Runs hotter than other apps, which could lead to overheating / slow charging.

The Condensed (To The Point) Guide

Download the app. Open it.

Login with Kick.com or skip this step if you're not streaming on Kick.

Click the button under the microphone button to add overlays.

Click the live icon to set destination, should be Kick by default if you logged in, but you can change it here to a server or setup something else if you want.

Click 'Start stream'.

You're live.

Troubleshooting

The main issues I've experienced so far is overheating. My phone seems to get hotter than it does with IRL Pro, but the app is nice so I'm trying it out. The default Thermal stepdown setting helps, but I have it actually disabled because I'd rather cook the phone and have the highest quality stream than protect the phone if that's the option.

It is also in Beta, so expect bugs. I've reported a PiP bug that can force the stream to start when it isn't live. If you get your hands on it, it's great, but expect some bumps this early on.
